ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is providing general contracting services for the construction of the University’s new Engineering and Technology Building. The three-story facility will house classrooms, teaching laboratories, makers spaces, student collaboration spaces, and faculty offices. The building structure will utilize mass timber and the building facade will utilize glass curtainwall, metal panels, and exposed concrete.
The client’s goal was to rebrand their campus as a Cal Poly with a new centerpiece showcasing sustainability and engineering innovation. With a thorough understanding of the campus’ goals established during the pursuit and confirmed in the validation phase, our ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø + AC Martin team rallied around innovations in both design and progressive design-build processes.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is also self-performing mass timber, concrete, drywall, millwork, doors, frames, and hardware.
